COMPANY HISTORY

Perhaps the Southland's most innovative landscape design team, Yard Design found
its beginnings in 2004 in Los Angeles, California, and as of 2008 is also serving the greater Miami area. What began simply as a passion for plants has evolved into a
bi-coastal endeavor of creating spectacular and custom-made gardens.
Southern California and Florida residents have long had a passion for exquisite and distinctive landscaping, thereby creating a large demand particularly in those areas.

Yard Design owner Patricia Gleason brings intuitive creative talent plus a wealth
of uniquely applicable experience to landscape design for her clients.
Her European upbringing has steeped her in a cultural history that prizes the value and impact that dazzling gardens and landscaping bring to a complete architectural picture. 
Her extensive university background, not only in Landscape Architecture, but also
in Botany, Geology, Soil Studies, and Physical Geography adds a rare scientific perspective to her creative eye, resulting in landscape design that is beautiful, functional, long lasting, and custom-suited to any environment.

YOUR FIRST LANDSCAPE CONSULTATION IS ALL-INCLUSIVE

The initial consultation will provide a chance for us to discover your landscaping
needs, tastes, and requirements. We will perform a complete site analysis, photo documentation, and take basic measurements of your property.

We will discuss landscaping and gardening ideas, hardscape, water features, irrigation and lighting. We will offer stylistic design choices, or advise you on the installation
of your own pre-existing design plan. For our commercial clients, we will focus on ways to use your landscaping to attract customers.

Within 3-5 business days we will provide an estimate showing all the components that were discussed during the consultation. This estimate can be modified to accommodate your financial budget, or can be broken down into phases that can be implemented at your own pace. There are never any billing surprises with us, and you will feel confident and well taken care of in our expert hands.
